Tshiamo Seekoe
As a painter Tshiamo Seekoe adorns his canvas with the human figure, the landscape and flora, the most prominent colour is blue which hed uses entirely on his human figures, in light hues or deep dark ones. Looking at the painted figures, one might associate their body language with a state of emotional distress or sorrow. Combining the colour system of Blue and the body language of the figures, it Is important to note that most of them are male figures, whether the artist is aware of it or not, one might assume it is his own inner mental environment, projected onto his paintings.
The artist might be inviting us to decode the body language of the masculine here, how does it communicate unconscious feelings and the unspeakable. Creativity is a sign of yearning, birth brought us to a world that could only give us half the substance of consciousness, suggesting that death is a completion birth, metamorphosis, or human extinction.
But this world on Tshiamo`s canvases is very real, a familiar landscape with many endangered species of large trees and plants, cactus, extinct butterfly species, birds and grass.

Born and bred in the heart of the Free State, Bloemfontein. Tshiamo Seekoe always had a knack for creativity. Born on the 14th of August 1998, he only started painting in his first year in Varsity (Central University of Technology, 2017)
He studied Design and Studio Arts, and majored in Visual Practice (Fine Arts), He recently dropped out because of financial difficulties, and still yet to graduate, but that did not hinder his progress in Art, it made him work more, so he is currently taking a sabbatical to focus more on improving his skills, knowledge and techniques.
When Tshiamo Seekoe is not working, he can be found working in the garden or skateboarding, although he’s not as consistent as before, but the time missed on that he spends it on painting, which is a win-win situation in my opinion.
He is a lover of music, when you hear music playing in his parent’s garage, just know that he is definitely painting
.
